Accepted an offer after 14 months - any advice?

They called on Wednesday with an offer and I said yes right away. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. It is not my dream role, but the pay is fair and the people are kind.

That is wonderful news. Keep applying for a little while if you have not signed, it is a good habit.
