Accepted an offer after 13 months - what worked for you?

They called on Monday with an offer and I said yes right away. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I am relieved and a bit nervous. What helped you in the first month?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
