Accepted an offer after 12 months - what worked for you?

They called on Tuesday with an offer and I said yes right away. Any experience at all would help. It is not my dream role, but the pay is fair and the people are kind. What helped you in the first month?

That is wonderful news. Keep applying for a little while if you have not signed, it is a good habit.
