Accepted an offer after 11 months (update)

They called on Tuesday with an offer and I said yes right away. I am in Madison, in case local advice matters. It is not my dream role, but the pay is fair and the people are kind. What helped you in the first month?

That is wonderful news. Keep applying for a little while if you have not signed, it is a good habit.
