Accepted an offer after 11 months - 11 months and counting

After 11 months I accepted a job as a welding apprentice. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I could not have done it without this community. How do you handle the first week?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
