Accepted an offer after 10 months - what worked for you?

They called on Thursday with an offer and I said yes right away. It is not my dream role, but the pay is fair and the people are kind. How do you handle the first week?

That is wonderful news. Keep applying for a little while if you have not signed, it is a good habit.
