Accepted an offer after 10 months - 10 months and counting

They called on Tuesday with an offer and I said yes right away. There are 17 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. It is not my dream role, but the pay is fair and the people are kind. What helped you in the first month?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 10 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
