Whole sector shrinking, should I change fields? - what worked for you?

Three companies in Fresno cut staff in the same month. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have transferable skills but no direct experience elsewhere. How did you choose?

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.

A short certificate helped me more than a new degree would have. Check what local colleges offer.
