Whole sector shrinking, should I change fields? - what worked for you?

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as an HR coordinator. I worked as an HR coordinator before this. The postings I see are fewer and ask for more. Which areas are hiring?

A short certificate helped me more than a new degree would have. Check what local colleges offer.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
