Whole sector shrinking, should I change fields? - what worked for you?

Our sector has been shrinking and I am unsure if I should wait it out. It has been a long 15 weeks. The postings I see are fewer and ask for more.

A short certificate helped me more than a new degree would have. Check what local colleges offer.
