Whole sector shrinking, should I change fields?, recruiter here

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as a recruiter. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable. Which areas are hiring?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

A short certificate helped me more than a new degree would have. Check what local colleges offer.
