Whole sector shrinking, should I change fields? - first time posting

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as a logistics coordinator. It has been weighing on me all week. I have transferable skills but no direct experience elsewhere.

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
