Whole sector shrinking, should I change fields?, dental hygienist here

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as a dental hygienist. I worked as a dental hygienist before this. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable. Who has switched fields?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
