Whole sector shrinking, should I change fields? after 9 years as an insurance claims processor

Our sector has been shrinking and I am unsure if I should wait it out. Any experience at all would help. The postings I see are fewer and ask for more. Who has switched fields?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
