Whole sector shrinking, should I change fields? after 9 years as a project coordinator

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as a project coordinator. It has been a long 19 weeks. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable. Which areas are hiring?

A short certificate helped me more than a new degree would have. Check what local colleges offer.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
