Whole sector shrinking, should I change fields? after 9 years as a delivery driver

Three companies in Fresno cut staff in the same month. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. The postings I see are fewer and ask for more.

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
