Whole sector shrinking, should I change fields? after 6 years as an event coordinator

Our sector has been shrinking and I am unsure if I should wait it out. It has been a long 6 weeks. The postings I see are fewer and ask for more. Who has switched fields?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
