Whole sector shrinking, should I change fields? after 5 years as a dental hygienist

Three companies in Tulsa cut staff in the same month. The postings I see are fewer and ask for more. Which areas are hiring?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
