Whole sector shrinking, should I change fields? after 4 years as a call-centre agent

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as a call-centre agent. I am in Minneapolis, in case local advice matters. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable. Which areas are hiring?
