Whole sector shrinking, should I change fields? after 3 years as a procurement assistant

Three companies in Oklahoma City cut staff in the same month. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable.

Look at job postings to see which skills repeat, then fill the gap. That gave me a direction.
