Whole sector shrinking, should I change fields? - 9 months and counting

Three companies in Cincinnati cut staff in the same month. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

A short certificate helped me more than a new degree would have. Check what local colleges offer.
