Whole sector shrinking, should I change fields? - 3 months and counting

Three companies in Oklahoma City cut staff in the same month. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable. Which areas are hiring?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
