Whole sector shrinking, should I change fields? - 2 weeks in

Three companies in Nashville cut staff in the same month. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. The postings I see are fewer and ask for more. How did you choose?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 10 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
