Whole sector shrinking, should I change fields? - 13 weeks in

Sanjay Okonkwo · 2026-07-08T08:54:32.592Z

Our sector has been shrinking and I am unsure if I should wait it out. It has been weighing on me all week. The postings I see are fewer and ask for more. Which areas are hiring?

Talk to people in the field you are considering. Two coffee chats changed my mind about one option.
