Whole sector shrinking, should I change fields? - 10 weeks in

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as an administrative assistant. It has been a long 10 weeks. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable. Which areas are hiring?

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
