When does my employer coverage actually end? after 6 years as a welding apprentice

HR said my health plan continues for a bit and I do not understand how. I am in Providence, in case local advice matters. I do not want to be surprised by a bill. How did you confirm your end date?

Dental and vision sometimes end on a different date from medical. Mine did.

Ask HR to confirm the exact date in writing. I also called the insurance company to double-check.
