What do I say about why I left my last job? - what worked for you?

They always ask why I left, and I freeze. There are 10 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I have been practising in the mirror. Do they ask follow-ups?

Practise it out loud with a friend. Mine felt natural after the third try.

I keep it to two sentences: the company cut my team, and here is what I am proud of and what I am looking for next.
