What do I say about why I left my last job? (update)

They always ask why I left, and I freeze. I am in Atlanta, in case local advice matters. I also do not want to seem like a risk. Do you mention numbers?

I keep it to two sentences: the company cut my team, and here is what I am proud of and what I am looking for next.

Practise it out loud with a friend. Mine felt natural after the third try.
