What do I say about why I left my last job? - 2 weeks in

My whole team was cut and I want to say it calmly. I am in Salt Lake City, in case local advice matters. I have been practising in the mirror. Do they ask follow-ups?

Practise it out loud with a friend. Mine felt natural after the third try.
