What do I say about why I left my last job? - 13 weeks in

They always ask why I left, and I freeze. There are 15 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I do not want to blame the company. What do you say?

If a company has been in the news for layoffs, you can mention that. Often the interviewer already knows.
