Unemployment ran out before I found work - what worked for you?

My unemployment benefits end in 16 weeks and I have not found work as a store manager. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. What did you do after benefits ran out?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
