Unemployment ran out before I found work - what worked for you?

I exhausted my benefits and have 7 interviews lined up. I worked as a hotel front-desk agent before this. I am willing to take a temporary job. Did you find short-term work?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
