Unemployment ran out before I found work - what worked for you?

My unemployment benefits end in 25 weeks and I have not found work as a school bus driver. Any experience at all would help. I have savings for about a month. What did you do after benefits ran out?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
