Unemployment ran out before I found work (update)

My unemployment benefits end in 3 weeks and I have not found work as a forklift operator. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. Did you find short-term work?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
