Unemployment ran out before I found work (update)

My unemployment benefits end in 22 weeks and I have not found work as a recruiter. I am in San Diego, in case local advice matters. I have savings for about a month. Did you find short-term work?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
