Unemployment ran out before I found work - any advice?

The claim window is closing and I am worried about bills. There are 15 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I am willing to take a temporary job. What did you do after benefits ran out?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 12 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
