Unemployment ran out before I found work - any advice?

The claim window is closing and I am worried about bills. Any experience at all would help. I am willing to take a temporary job. Where did you get help with bills?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.

Food pantries and community kitchens helped us stretch the budget. No shame in using them.
