Unemployment ran out before I found work - any advice?

The claim window is closing and I am worried about bills. Any experience at all would help. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. What did you do after benefits ran out?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
