Unemployment ran out before I found work - any advice?

The claim window is closing and I am worried about bills. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have savings for about a month. Did you find short-term work?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
