Unemployment ran out before I found work - any advice?

I exhausted my benefits and have 8 interviews lined up. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. Where did you get help with bills?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
