Unemployment ran out before I found work - any advice?

I exhausted my benefits and have 5 interviews lined up. I worked as a mechanic before this. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. What did you do after benefits ran out?

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.
