Unemployment ran out before I found work after 9 years as an insurance claims processor

The claim window is closing and I am worried about bills. It has been a long 21 weeks. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. Did you find short-term work?

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
