Unemployment ran out before I found work after 12 years as a medical assistant

My unemployment benefits end in 19 weeks and I have not found work as a medical assistant. I am willing to take a temporary job. What did you do after benefits ran out?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
