Unemployment ran out before I found work - 9 weeks in

My unemployment benefits end in 9 weeks and I have not found work as an electrician's helper. I am willing to take a temporary job. What did you do after benefits ran out?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
