Unemployment ran out before I found work - 8 months and counting

I exhausted my benefits and have 8 interviews lined up. There are 8 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I am willing to take a temporary job. What did you do after benefits ran out?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
