Unemployment ran out before I found work

I exhausted my benefits and have 14 interviews lined up. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. Did you find short-term work?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.
