Unemployment ran out before I found work - 7 weeks in

My unemployment benefits end in 7 weeks and I have not found work as a welding apprentice. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have savings for about a month. Did you find short-term work?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
