Unemployment ran out before I found work - 7 months and counting

I exhausted my benefits and have 6 interviews lined up. I am in Kansas City, in case local advice matters. I have savings for about a month. What did you do after benefits ran out?

Ask your state agency about any extended programmes. Mine did not advertise them, but they existed.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
