Unemployment ran out before I found work - 6 months and counting

I exhausted my benefits and have 13 interviews lined up. I am in Tucson, in case local advice matters. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. Did you find short-term work?

I took a temp job while I kept looking. It covered rent, and the agency sent me to a permanent job within a couple of months.
