Unemployment ran out before I found work - 5 weeks in

My unemployment benefits end in 5 weeks and I have not found work as a sales associate. It has been a long 5 weeks. I wonder about extended programmes or help from local agencies. Did you find short-term work?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
